La Maisonnette is a delightful period stone gîte located within the historic part of the village of Auvers-sur-Oise. Charming 60m2 two bedroom duplex self-catering apartment for 1-4 people with own entrance and patio/garden. Newly refurbished kitchen. Situated at the end of a quiet lane with free parking. Free fibre wifi throughout.
Located 300m from 'Maison du Dr Gachet', the former home of Van Gogh's doctor (now a museum). Creperie, bar, boulangerie/patisserie and convenience store are all within five minutes' walk.
Auvers-sur-Oise is a picturesque village nestled in the Vexin Français Natural Regional Park. It was much loved by the Impressionists, in particular Van Gogh, who described it as "seriously beautiful" .
Further afield, we recommend the artistic and historic town of Pontoise (5km) and the pretty tourist town of L'isle-Adam (10km). Paris is 35km away. Excellent transport links, bus stop 50m (L'isle-Adam to Cergy line), nearest train station Chaponval 900m( Change at Pontoise for Paris). Nearest airport is Paris Charles de Gaulle ( 35km).
